Welcome to the Conway Jaycees Website!

The Jaycees organization is the premiere leadership training and community service organization for young adults. The organization serves men and women between the ages of 18 and 41. The Jaycees provide opportunities to improve on one's business skills, provide networking opportunities, perform community service, and offers social opportunities.
Current Events
The event will start at Simon Park at 11am with a chili cookoff that will last until 2pm. Folks in Conway are invited to sample some of the best chili in Faulkner County. It will be $3 for all-you-can-eat. Businesses and individuals are invited to showcase their own chili recipes. The winner of the chili cookoff with be the recipient of “The Golden Kettle”, an traveling trophy awarded to each year’s winner.
The Children’s Carnival will be from 1pm to 5pm and will feature games, prizes, inflatables, and free pictures with Santa. Semi professional entertainment will begin at 5pm, with Miss Arkansas and Conway’s favorite daughter, Katie Bailey. This year’s parade theme will be “tis the reason for the season”. Parade participants are encouraged to build a float that represents their reason for the season; whether is the birth of Christ, time with friends and family, or something else that is your reason to celebrate the holidays. The parade will begin at 6pm, immediately following Mayor Tab Townsell’s Christmas Address. The parade will be hosted by Miss Arkansas Katie Bailey, Senator Gilbert Baker, and Vice President Elect for the State Junior Chamber, Bradley Phillips.
The deadline for float registration is Monday, December 3rd. Applications may be picked up at the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce, or you can download one by clicking here. (this opens in a new windows, so please disable your pop-up blocker) Entry fees are as follows: $10 for floats, $5 for individuals, $15 for corporate and business floats. Late entries will be accepted until the day of for $25.
